Pose morph snapping back.

Hi there!

My pose morph tag suddenly stopped working when I went back to make changes after animating. It instantly undoes any changes I make to a pose now, even new ones. The old poses all work fine. It seems to go hand in hand with another glitch, which is that my move and rotate controls keep flickering out of existence. I’m attaching a video for more detail. Thanks for any help!

Notes: I do have “edit” mode toggled, and it’s only a PSR pose morph (not points), except that it’s on a rig/hierarchy. which might be complicating things. There is a bit of xpresso linking the pose strengths to a Maxon Moves object, but that didn’t affect my ability to make new poses or change old ones before this.

Thanks for any help!

Hi MrSky,

Thanks for the file.

The PoseMorph is driven by “Milli Vanilli version 2”; this will overwrite.

You need to switch off the XPresso tag to take control of it. If it is switched on, it will overwrite it.

One way would be to create a manual mixer; one channel is shown in the image below (MO mouth open).

Or bake the slider movements from the PoseMorph, then switch off the Xpresso. Now you can change the parameter with new keyframes, and it will stay.

All the best
