Pardon the topic title if it sounds petulant but it’s the best way I have at the moment to describe it.
I’ve recently (today, 1-17-22) updated to the most recent version of C4d and am all at once unable to open the program.
I get the white screen of forbidding saying that I need an active license, which I have , so I click to proceed to the Maxon app. At the top of the app screen I get two red messages, both saying ‘failed to acquire Commercial c4d/ or c4d license. I’m at a loss as to what to do next. I have a legit license but I don’t know how to assign it at this point. When I visit the license manager online I see an active license in the license area but there’s nothing to click or select to call it to action/activate. ON occasion I do use the software at my office where I need to release and reassign the license, which has worked flawlessly up until now. But now the license isn’t even assigned to that, I have no clue how to fix this. I’ve tried uninstalling the entire enchilada from the maxon app to C4d and reinstalling w the newest versions but still the same problem. I have a ticket open with their ‘support’ department but that could take up to 3 days and I’m trying to get this sorted asap.
