Hi,
as I understand this is not possible nativiely in Cinema 4D without use of 3rd party plugins?
It sure would be a relevent feature built into the core, since lidar data and point clouds become pretty common in a 3D pipeline.

IF there is a way, please guide me! wink

Hi “all”,

(It sounds misleading as I don’t say “Hi all” when I like to address only you, perhaps consider changing your forum’s name, or is it your real name? [Contact Us; left lower corner])

I can write a request about LIDAR. (Or lidar, Lidar, etc.)

Yes, LIDAR has been in the industry for quite a long time. However, I do not think we have even 1% of Cinema 4D artists using it directly. (If we exclude iPad LIDAR).

Yes, the companies or open-source providers, plug-in producers need to fill that gap for now.

You can also voice your interest here:

Just to be clear, if I can support this, I will do it.

Have a great evening

P.S.: I have filed a request for this.
