In C4D S25, there is no option to hide motion tracker footage, as in previous versions. How can the footage be temporarily disabled to allow viewing of a reconstructed point cloud or mesh? The box for “view footage through camera” is checked and greyed out.

Hi visionarymind111,

Please go to the Main Menu> Tracker> 2D Tracks.

If this is disabled, the option to use the “Show Footage through Camera” is no longer grayed out.

Cheers

Such a simple solution. Thank you for the explanation. Now I must figure out how to render a reconstructed mesh without AO / shadows in Redshift, but that is a separate question. I will post elsewhere.

Thanks a lot for the reply, visionarymind111

I like that you don’t mix themes in a single thread. This keeps it readable. Thanks for that as well.

Cheers
