weird shadows on rigged hand

I have this rigged hand that’s doing something weird with the shadows. It’s as if the shadow stays stuck to the form even though it’s been moved:

Thanks so much for uploading the file.

The Normal Tag on the hand causes the problem. I tested it with the creator version of the file and up and down. Always the same result.
Select the Normal tag and delete it.
