I got a character model from another studio with no rigging. I’m not doing animation and I don’t even need to rig the whole character. I only need to rig the hands and feet well enough so that I can pose them and render a single frame. No IK chains necessary.

What’s the most basic tutorial I can see? I’ve done a small amount of rigging with other software.

Hi ahanford,

Just upload the character to Mixamo, and in no time, you have a full-rigged setup. As usual, I do not answer from memory, I tried it and it took a few minutes. See image.

Otherwise, use the Cinema 4D> Character Rig> Mixamo. I think it is faster to set up than to create all the joints by yourself.
The fasted workflow.
