Has Shadow Catcher changed in R23? It doesn’t seem to work with a Plane any longer; only with a Floor Object. I’m using Mac OS Big Sur.

I used an iMac with Big Sur 11.2.3; I haven’t checked the current Big Sur beta yet.

Thank you for your prompt response. The problem seems to have been with my office computer. The file you sent didn’t work on it, either. But when I tried it on my home computer, it worked fine; as did my attempts to use the Shadow Catcher with my own file. Now this morning after I restarted my office computer, the Shadow Catcher is working just fine. I should know by now that sometimes when things don’t work in Cinema, either copy/paste everything into a fresh, new scene, or if that doesn’t work, reboot the computer….

I spoke too soon. Shadow Catcher has stopped working when saved as a PSD or PNG. It does work when saved as an OpenEXR with 32 pits/channel. Is that the file format that must be used?
