Hi,

I have flat faces images…. front and two side images. Is there a way to place that images on any library head model…?

for 3 seconds… Just have to turn head left and right and do renders.

Thanks.
Imran.

p.s.
reference I can show in PM.

Thanks for the example.

I’m in a meeting right now. But here is a quick sketch.

Let me know if that makes sense for your project.

Thanks a lot for the data, Imran.

Here is an example, you might move the eyes a little bit (Soft-selection, Bell, 1cm, and rotate)
(ORIGINAL link removed, based on member request. Private data)

Edit: Here is a dummy with a neutral texture.

With just two images and not the right mesh, this would be all I can do in a certain amount of time. Typically I would take at least a dozen shots.

Perhaps, if you have the option, “Moves by Maxon” gives you already the good mesh with the front view. Anything else is then photoshop and a little bit of UV work.

My best wishes for your project.

P.S.: as fast way would be to take mouth, nose, ears, etc., each as a single image and use this method:
https://help.maxon.net/r23/en-us/Default.htm#html/11568.html?TocPath=BodyPaint 3D|First Steps|_____2
Then use in Photoshop (or BodyPaint 3D) the Clone tool to cover the rest with skin and hair.

yes… I was thinking some other way or may be any other tool used….!

Images over mesh… that was also hitting the last option to do.

Thanks a lot.

p.s.
please… you can remove the last post links.

Hi Imran,

Thanks for telling me that you like to have the portrait images removed: done!

In BodyPaint3D or UV Edit, you can render the polygon edges to a layer. If the UV mesh was prepared well, then it is easy to open that file in Photoshop. There you can place single features of the head (ears, mouth, eyes, etc.) onto a single layer. This should be the fastest way.

But again, if you have any option to use Moves By Maxon, then the mesh already matches the face. Which will save a few hours, more or less.

My best wishes for your project.

Yes… that I saw some references of photos over unwrapped head.

I tried move… it shows only front face not sides. I will see that again.

Thanks.

Imran,

I have set up a dummy scene with just a texture.
This should help to set the face/head parts in the right place.

You’re very welcome, Imran.

My best wishes for your project.

P.S.: … please note that this week is pretty occupied with a company-wide summit. I might have no time before tomorrow afternoon. 10pm (22:00) here, I call it a day.
