Hi nelsonlotinghei,

Please have a look here:

Example
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/I17myC2jeLXEhkxflVENN3kUvlT1p81B9Nx9jHmumBa

The idea was to draw with the Spline > Pen
Then use the Randomize Points (Mesh> Move> Set Point Values [Crumble Axial])
Scale certain areas of the point cloud to get close to the wanted shape.
Use the Sweep Tool to get quickly a visible result (Even Splines can be used in Volume directly… here I preferred Sweep)
I displaced the result a little bit
In Volume> SDF Dilate and SDF Erode as well as SDF Smooth

Note that in Volume Builder, the Voxel Size is crucial to keep it as large as possible but (secondarily) as small as needed.

Let me know if there is any question about this process. I’m happy to look into it.

All the best

Hi Dr.Sassi,

Thanks for your reply!!! After trying out your suggestion, I also developed some other ways, like cube with subtraction and wind, to make the organic structure (Please see below link). But I am still looking for a more natural way to grow this rock structure. Any suggestions? Would X-particle helps?

Thanks in advance for your time!!

Best Regards,

Hi Nelson,

Please have a look here:
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/Em9tyEbVmoHM288vFL9cN1VeUkqqg15CWGi8yaLBhXC

The idea is to use the Rail-Spline as scale, to move it away from the path spline, and increase so the growth effect. The Pail Effector is set to Deform.
Use the cache to have a comfortable viewing (Volume Builder> Object> Cache).

All the best
