Hi,

I’ve downloaded this plugin that I really need. It says in the console that it’s initialized, but I can not fined it anywhere in the menus

https://www.toolfarm.com/news/freebie_selection_to_object_split_for_cinema_4d/

There’s also another one called Perfect Split but that only works on PC and I need mac

is there an issue with .py files working? All the plugins that do work seem to have a different py file name

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

I have no idea about this specific plugin, but R23 uses now Python 3.7.

Help Content: What’s new in R23:
• Added Python 3 support / Dropped Python 2 support.

You might get in contact with the author of this script.

Hi!

so, is there a way to convert this script? Is there some sort of online converter? It says in the console that it was successfully iniitalized?

I did also email the author.

Thank you!
Dave

Hi Dave,

Since most parts are unique to Cinema 4D’s Python set, I’m not aware if there is such an option like a simple converting script.

The author of this plugin will know what can be done.

I have given Toolfarm a note about this in the hope that it will help.

Fingers crossed that the author checks at 22:00h his emails (his local time) or at all on the weekend.

All the best
