Hi c4d-angel

just made this tutorial… could not find out, how to eliminate the green lines of the cameras while hardware rendering… turning the filter off did not help (only in the viewport)... I must have missed something due to my crab english…

Please give me a hint

Thank’s from Switzerland

I checked my settings in R19… there, all is fine!
The problem with the same settings happens in R23… pfff

Hi Henry,

If I had a scene file I might tell exactly what happens.

Would you mind to check this option inside of the Render Settings? Image below.

Let me know if that works for you.

Cheers

Hello dottore
Nice to hear you again.
Seeing your screenshot, I knew what I did wrong… :-(
I just did the tutorial ‘Product Promos with Hardware OpenGL Rendering: Final Rendering with Hardware Renderer’ and downloaded the file ‘Shaver_StartFile_v07’.
To ‘hardware-render’ this (now view-port-render), I proceeded like in R21 by switching the filters… did not work in R23… until you showed me where the working filter-switches are… graze mille
Switching the filters in the old way (view-port-options) does not work any more?

Have a nice day
Henri

Hi Henri,

Nice to see you as well.

Yes, I checked it in R21 as well, as usual, I do not post here based on my memory: Things might change.
Speaking of changes: IF you create a new scene in R23, you will see that the Viewport Render option in the Render Settings will give you a different result. Different from opening an older scene from a previous version that had Hardware Render enabled.

The current settings are more defining the words clearly. Viewport works for Viewport, but the Render Settings’ Filter is purely for the Picture Viewer.

I hope with all this, as confusing as it might be right now, I hope to clear it a little bit.

Have a wonderful evening.
