OpenGL render in S22

Hi,
how can I get render in S22 with the old OPEN GL engine?
I supposed that has been replaced by “viewport render” but, if I set the render settings, I always have black frames
If I use R21 with the same file the render comes out perfect, as always.

Something has changed, could someone help me?

Thanks.

Hi NBE_K19,

What has changed is that the complete Viewport code was re-written.

The following are just standard steps, I assume you have checked them already, but since we are in a forum, I like to list them:

Viewport Hardware is now the old OpenGl Preference

In the Editor View> Options> Enhanced OpenGL should be on with the other qualities you like to have.

Resize the Viewport to half (just to gain more ideas about the problem). Is the Editor and Picture Viewer the same?

Are all Graphics Driver on the latest build? IS the Cinema 4D on the last build?

Anything else is certainly a case for the support:

My best wishes

Thanks, Mr. Sassi,
Sorry but I can’t find the OpenGL Pref.
Is it the one in the images attached?

As you can see viewport is running, my only problem is that the render with viewport renderer is not working! I get a black screen!
Is a scene created using the R21 if this could help.

I’ve also tried to do a new scene, with a cube and the render it works!
so I tried to paste in the scene that I need to render, but nothing has resolved! always black image(also with the merge, same result)

I don’t understand…

Hi NBE_K19,

In your post is no screenshot.

Please have a look at the screenshot below, Preferences> Viewport Hardware. (Previous called OpenGL).

I have no idea what hardware you have nor what the current driver would be. All in all, the support will give you that information.

I can only encourage you to check with the support. I’m not supposed to do that here.

My best wishes

Thank you for sharing that! I had already found it but I don’t find the open gl screen space local reflections settings which were available before s22
