Hi,

I’m learning C4D and ran into a problem

In lesson 4 - I’m having a hard time randomizing the carrots jumping out of the ground.

I’m using S22 and it seems the falloff systems are different and I can figure out how to match the settings? 

I tried opening the scene file and converting the Falloff as showcased in the video, but the settings do not convert clearly…

How would one randomize the carrots jumping out using the new system in S22?

Really sorry that there was no updated version while you were working through the series. I have sent you an updated version of the file.

The name of the file is: CV2_S22_drs_20_TUvi_04.c4d (I hope the admins will add this file to the tutorials, if not, who needs it, please post below.)

Inside the file, you will find the R19 version as well as the S22 version, so you can see how similar the results are. Similar, as I replaced the Random Effector with a Shader Field, including a Noise Shader (A Noise Field could be used, but the Shader has more options here). Alternative the Random Field could be used as Field-Mask.
