Hi Imran,

Here is your video clip. I’m not certain if you mean UVs or UV tags. Lets start with this one.

As usual, one minute long, and it is just a demo, and not a tutorial.

Well, or it is as simple as: Place each UV Tag on the right side of the Material Tag. Done.
Screen capture:

Besides, the most right sided material is the top layer, then it goes to the left (Object Manger) to the lowest layer.

Cheers

I think my question was not clear or it was wrong….!
After unwrapping.. how can U stack (overlap) same shape / size polygons in UV area…?
In my example… two selected polygons in UV view port, to make it exact overlap any command or manually I have to keep over (screen shot)...?

Thanks.

Hi Imran,

Thanks for clearing.

Here are two ways: [clip#976]
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/5bgP01J1mGvVwQxyNPWV6OBv27xSKZSiPgbq1GvhKnG

One works with snapping. If the polygons are already equal in size and shape and orientation (congruent), then a single point snap should work. If they are not the same, then all points need to be moved separately, as well as with point snapping.

The second one just uses the idea of UV max, and that sets any four-sided UV to the border of the UV space. If they need to be rotated, select the polygon of the object, and use the Transform option, or Cycle UV CCW/CC

The main idea is to have the UV Polygons fill as much the UV space as possible, as it is typically the image space. So the texture is efficient. The new Packing option would not Layer similar UV, so I do not suggest this here.

Cheers
