I don’t know if it has anything to do with compatibility or not, but if i use the file #4 downloaded from part 2, the simulation of the balloons seems to be buggy (mostly the balloons stuck inside the text models). I fixed that by changing the shape option in each simulation tag from static mesh to automatic. I right clicked and read the help file, it notes that there would be compatibility issue.

Hi huanle5062,

I have sent you a link via Cineversity Private message.

Please also have a look here:
https://help.maxon.net/r21/us/index.html#DYNRIGIDBODYTAG-RIGID_BODY_GROUP_COLLISION
The shape is critical. Besides, the balloons have a dense mesh, so Shape Other Object should be explored as well.

I have set up the scene a little bit differently than Rick had suggested it. I placed under the second Cloner only one balloon and provided the Material with a MoGraph Color Shader. This needed color information, which was supplied from the Random Effector set to Effector Color> Parameters. Note that the Min/Max values should be set to 0% to 100%; negative values will result in dark balloons.

You might also notice that a Wind object is in the scene. Besides, the balloons covered the PARTY “logo”. So I animated an Attractor to pull them away at one point.

My suggestion, set up a smaller scene (floor and one balloon) and explore the parameters.

My best wishes for your exploration.

I have a question. Is placing the wind below the balloons the only way to remove gravity of the rigid body tag?

Hi Huanle5062,

If you go to the Attribute Manager> Mode> Project> Dynamics> General, you can set the gravity to any number.
https://help.maxon.net/us/index.html#DYNWORLDOBJECT-WORLD_GROUP_DYNAMICS

As an alternative, to influence only a few objects, you can use the
Main Menu> Simulation> Forces> Gravity, and work against the Scene gravity. Please note that you can do that either with the Include or Exclude list of the Dynamic tag (Force tab).
An example is below
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/wiB2Ln7XiMSn4DxE9PPoKmIORQGLpJjrHSKs1SR0U8O
The red arrow in the editor frame points to the right. However, the sphere goes down and to the side, as it mixes the project’s gravity and the gravity-object.
The green arrow indicates the force up, with the same amount as the scene-gravity, so they cancel each other out.
Falloff can be used, as well, but any movement given to an object will continue even outside of that falloff.

The Wind seemed to be a natural influence. Not the one an only method to influence the Dynamics.

All the best, stay safe, stay healthy.

Also It’s great when you leave a hint that the acceleration should be around 980 cm (real world) rather than the default (250 cm for dynamic object and 1000 cm for project) to simulate the (closest) real gravity.

Very kind of you, huanle5062, thank you very much for this lovely feedback.

I tend to pack too much into presentations, and then run through it, but I certainly can adjust wink
Presenting is something beautiful, as one can feel the audience in realtime. I allways loved that.
My idea would be to work throught the three areas we have now: Redshift, Redgiant and Maxon of course. A productionpipeline example, one of my favorite themes.
We will see what happens, I ’ m certainly wide open to do what is wanted.

Have a nice Sunday.

P.S.: yes the 980 or 981, that was not meant to show off, I thought that this number would stand out more, and your attention to detail confirmed it. Thank you very much.
