In this video https://www.cineversity.com/vidplaylist/ninja_character_rig/ninja_character_rig_letter_rigs_overview_main_movers_setup and at 6:50, the instructor right clicks on a NULL object and chooses Character Tags -> Constraint that I do not seem to find in the latest release of Cinema 4D. The options under Character -> Constraints are all disabled as well. How can I add a PSR constraint in Cinema 4D R21?

Hi gruprog,

Very sorry about this stop in your progress. At least once a year, I try to encourage to leave the interface alone, as it leads to precisely this problem. Needless to say, things move on, and we all hope, of course, that it is an improvement after all.
Anyway, please have a look at the screenshot below, you will find the Tag there. This will be the same “path” for the right mouse click.

Alternatively, hold down the shift key and press the c key shortly. This will open the Commander. Type into the appearing field the needed object/function/option.
Another option is to go to the Main Menu> Window> Customization> Customize Commands… > Name Filter

I hope that helps to overcome things like that in the future, as it is certainly annoying. But rest assure changes often happen after long discussions, as we certainly balance any input carefully. Thanks for understanding.

All the best

You’re very welcome, gruprog, thanks for the lovely feedback.

I try to be 16/7 around. I certainly know how it feels to get stuck somewhere. Not nice, not fun. I’m happy when I can help.

Enjoy.
