Hello, in Glen Frey IBC 2019 he shows some of the new features in R21.
The examples he puts are not explained how they are done, so I canĀ“t learn from them.
Is any instructor looking forward to explain all of those examples?
A concrete example, in his IBC, in min 24:36 how is it done?
In min 27:04, how is it done this particles coming arond a type text?

Thank you in advanced

Hi Anunciada,

Thanks for the suggestions.

Here is a Quick Tip that might help for now

Hi Dr Sassi,
thank you for your fast answer. Thank you for the project file. The 2 quick tips videos I new them before and looked to them.
Do you know what are the settings for the spline dynamic in min 25:36 and the cloth paper example along a spline and the min 26?
I appreciate you time to respond

You’re very welcome, Anunciada, thanks for the feedback.

The demo clips from above contain a lot of hints on how to understand the examples.

I sadly do not have these files. I think the fastest way would be to ask in the YouTube comment section.
I will check out the times you mentioned. If I have anything usable later on, I will share it, of course.

Cheers

P.S.: as I mentioned above, I will look into the two cases you mentioned.

Here is the simplest way I think it can be showcased.

Note that you often need a field/force that pulls it along, and another that pulls it into. All of that works based on the points of the object. If you set up the spline example with only a start and endpoint, you will not get the wanted result.

Sometimes it needs to be done with the Volume Object, to “translate” objects into specific fields, before the Volume can be used in the Field Force object.

I hope that helps to analyze the other examples shown in the presentation.
