Thanks for the file, very much appreciated, especially the use of Dropbox.
You used a Gradient Shader, and the gradient is linear. In other words, it follows not the idea of the designers that KLM had.
To create the flow of that line, you need to create an image. This image can be projected onto the plane. (file …_01.c4d)
I used a flat projection here. The base was taken from this image

If you select the layer in the Ps file, you will see this image.
A flat projection is used here as it is the most straightforward way in this case. I have turned it into UVW information (file …_11.c4d)
You might notice that I have used only gray values for the image. The Brightness of the image is used by the Colorizer Shader to map colors onto it. In this way, the adjustment of the wanted colors is swift. Something that you know with the client’s work, there is always an adjustment needed.
