Hi. I installed Toolbox as instructed, put the Folder into my Cinema4D User Folder. Nothing happens.

Console gives me this:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File “‘CV-Toolbox.pypv’”, line 172, in <module>
ImportError: No module named cvToolboxCore
MP: Message(1026805)
MP: Message(1000)
MP: Message(1001188)
MP: Message(300002164)
MP: Message(450000215)

In the plugins Manager the Little Icon on the left is crossed.

I use the latest Version of R17. Can someone help me?

Did you extract the entire toolbox folder into your C4DPrefs/plugins folder? Is there a lib folder inside the CV-Toolbox folder, containing cvToolboxCore.pyc inside a 27 subfolder?

Also, are you running Windows or Mac, and do you have any special accented characters in your username? Unicode paths can sometimes be problematic.

I don’t think the bug submitter will work if the libs aren’t loading, but you might check in C4DPrefs/cvToolbox for a file named cvToolbox.log, and if the file exists attach it here. It might help narrow down why the module isn’t loading.

Hi esnem,

Can you answer the same questions I asked above? It would really help me narrow down what may be going on. Also, do any errors appear in the console (Shift-F10)?

Hi Rick,

i have the same Problem with the installation of the cv-Toolbox as the people above.
My concole shows the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File “CV-Toolbox.pypv”, line 172, in <module>
ImportError: No module named cvToolboxCore

I copied the extracted cv-Toolbox folder to my c4d prefs/plugins folder. I can also see the 27 subfolder and it contains the cvToolboxCore.pyc. There is also a subfolder called 26 with the same files inside.

I have had special accents in my username, but changed them to normal letters. I’m running Windows 10 and Cinema 4D R18/19 (both not working with the cv-toolbox) and using cv-toolbox_1_78b. I also attached the log-file, but i think its completely empty.

Thanks for your help. I hope you will find the error.

I worked it out by myself. It still were the accents in my username. I only changed the username but not the name of the user-folder on my C: drive.
