offset start of cmotion

Another c-motion question.  Say i setup a cmotion walkcycle and then duplicate the rig a few times to create a small of characters.

Anyway i can offset the phase of each characters cmotion so they are not doing the exact same movement at the same time (without cheating and changing the time setting in the cmotion object)

Under the Basic Tab of the Cmotion object you will see a “animation” sub tab.
This will allow you to set custom start/stop times.

Either use negative values in the start, or values greater than project length in the stop.
That way you don’t have static objects sitting around if they start later or ending too soon.
And since you would be rendering a specific frame range you don’t need to worry to much about if an object itself starts animating at negative frame values or extends beyond the frame range.
