View Pose to Pose Animation

Refers to the method of creating animation keyframes a pose at a time.  The animator is concerned only with poses at this stage, not so much the motion of getting to the particular pose.  The animator will add more and more poses to choreograph the intended motion, a process known as “breaking down” the motion.  The keyframes created during this phase of animation are often referred to as “breakdown keys”, or “breakdown poses.”
