Video Quality: Live vs. Tutorials

I’m trying to watch the “Intro to Thinking Particles” video and the quality is quite poor when viewing full-screen. The text in the object manager/attributes is not readable. This makes it difficult to follow and repeat on my own computer.

Are the “Live” rebroadcasts done in a lower quality than the premium tutorials? Do premium members have access to higher res video content?

The process is completely different - because Live is produced and streamed real-time, there’s limitations on how we create the the stream and the quality we can provide. We’re working hard to continue to improve that quality, but it’s certainly not ideal.

The quality of the premium tutorials is much like those of the “Free” (not Open) tutorials on the site. The screen is directly captured at an appropriate resolution, the tutorials are edited and in many cases we zoom in further to clearly show the area of interest.
