Hi, i need to make something like this https://www.behance.net/gallery/48219271/Glitters

So i was thinking to make one piece and clone it on a spline. So far so good, but is there a way to make it deform as well? I wanna keep this setup procedural (if possible).
Is that doable?
thanks a lot

Hi thanulee,

Please have a look at the file below. I hope it will answer this question.

Let me know if you need something else. I’m happy to look into it.

Cheers

You’re very welcome, thanulee! (Do you prefer the small or a capital T?)

Perfect.

I had another idea, but that is perhaps far fetched. The CV-Pipeworks works also nice to set those things up. Furthermore, it showcases the possibilities with the Character-Object. I know that is a little bit more complicated to set up, but for a large roller-coaster, it is perhaps an ideal way to do it.

I made a little sketch, a screen capture is below.

Thanks for the feedback, Thanulee, I try to write the names as they appear, but I’m never really certain if I do not step on anyone’s toes.

Enjoy the CV-Pipeworks.

Cheers
