dynamic mograph ignores effectors

I have items falling with gravity, but, their visibility should turn off when it passes the plain effector and it does not.

attached is a starting scene with 3 clones, 1 hidden to show the plain effector working.

what is a work around for this problem or have i missed something?  Thanks!

Hi SethO,

The Effectors typically is calculated before the dynamics. Hence they (the two upper in your scene) have no idea about the falloff after the dynamics kicks in.

In the file below you can see that the position values are inherited to a new Cloner.1 and the Plain Effector can work on those. This could be done as well via the Inheritance Effector.

Replace the Torus with your objects, and switch the initial Cloner to invisible (but leave it active.
