How on earth is Chris able to copy-paste things without the anoying *.1 suffix added in the Object Manager…? (sorry slightly off topic, but this bothers me for decades) Is this a preference? And if so ... where is this feature hidden?

kind reagrds,

Hi Lex de Prieëlle,

Thanks for adding the time for the clip.

There is nothing that Chris did differently. The only change is, that he pasted the new copies outside of the Null Hierarchy. Then no suffix is added.

It would be the same to drag the just newly (cmd drag of the original) created copies under a new parent (e.g., a Null). Once this is done and you drag the new content away from that parent, the name stays the same. One more click and drag, but that would be the fastest way I know to get this done.
