Hi iacdxb,

If I’m not wrong, these files I got were from a tutorial series here, I’m not certain if you have changed something. If so, please point out what, thanks. The file is a bout a curtain and not an object covered with a cloth, except the stage floor counts as object.

There are certainly several influences, but Stiffness and Flexion are certainly the parameters to have an eye on. Of course the density of the mesh as well its quality is a key, please have a look here

The tools mentioned in “Function” are now in “Mesh”.

The Bounce is crucial as well, as it (at least in my understanding) simulates as well as the air cushion between object and cloth. This leads with the structure of the object to a different result. Use a Landscape object (set to spherical) instead of a sphere.

I hope that helps, perhaps you have a different scene, then I certainly have a look into it.

All the best

Thanks Dr. Sassi.

It seem s helpful but I did not found “Move Down Sequence”. In help, it shows in mesh menu but where its hidden, no idea…!
With Shift+C, it shows and applied but not effecting the polygons, it remains same after triangulate. Am I missing anything…?

Thanks.

It is not in mesh menu now, thanks for update.

Any idea how many other command (icons) are hidden in Customize command and are not in menus.

Thanks.

Hi iacdxb,

Since all commands are in this list, I guess a good number of older or less used commands are only there. In my early days of learning C4D, I used this list to check what I know. It is a fantastic list.

Hi,

Got some free time and tried that but no luck… I saw video again and again but “Move Down Sequence” icon does noting after selecting polygons.
Scratching head, a cup of coffee… tried with shift, alt and cmd but noting.

No idea how but clicked “Change point order” it does the move down sequence function. “Move Down Sequence” is non functional icon i think. May be it is working with any other function. Need to dig more….!

I think manual and some videos needs to update….!!!

Hi iacdxb,

Let’s try again, here is a clip showcasing what happens:

https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/TtdpUZMXQ8trcI4oD8VLpjwy9WqrWBEDW58VhzkkTot

The points stay the same, what happens is that the Polygons are created differently. Same points as before, but instead of 1,2,3,4, then 2,3,4,1.

In the clip I show it several times (to make the point), but one time is just what is needed.

All the best
