When tracking, I selected “Frame selected tracks”.  Now my view is zoomed in, which is nice for detail, but how do I zoom back out?

Hi SethO,

Please use the “Frame All Tracks” to get back. It is the Icon above the “Frame Selected Tracks”.

All the best

I was hoping there was another way.  if i click off the motion tracker, the framing remains.  so i have to then re-select a motion tracker, then click frame all each time.  thanks though!

Hi SethO,

I just tracked a shot, so you can tell if it is working as in the example or not. If not, what is different?

if you deselect the “Motion Tracker” on your Object Panel while zoomed-in, the menu “motion tracker>Frame All Selected” becomes grayed out.  Thus, trapped in a cropped view until you re-select the “motion tracker” object.

Yes, if it is not active, it has no idea what to do.

But if you click on the Motion Tracker object to get an Attribute Manager view of its parameter, click on the lock icon while in Footage and you have always access to the Navigation Settings> Full Footage button. This works as well if you click on the plus sign of the Attribute Manager in the upper right corner, to create an additional window, which allows any other active object to be presented in the Attribute Manager.

My best wishes for your project.
