I am new to Cinema 4D. I am trying to make an animation where some text and a logo slowly get revealed as they slide up and down the screen. I want them to slide from the middle of the screen. The closest example I can find would be https://videohive.net/item/12-titles-lower-third/19692776?s_rank=7

Please help

Hi JAnton,

I have moved the post to the Q&A:
Tutorial Discussion
This forum is for discussion about SPECIFIC tutorials. Don’t post here directly - posts should be created using the “Help with this Tutorial” button on tutorial pages.

I have attached a scene file:

Perhaps this is more what could be understand from the middle:

(Please note that I moved the two rectangles [edges] between frame 59 to 60 away from the “e”, so the “e” was not cut.)

Please have a look and explore the Spline Mask settings. Sometimes this set up creates artifacts, then one or the other spline needs a different “interpolation value [points].
The splines should be on flat to each other, i.e., not bended or different in Z (in this case).

The materials are set up only to show the options, they are added, not necessary.

Let me know if there is another question or idea.

All the best
