Hi Leute

ich würde in Cinema gerne diese Art von Animation ( am liebsten als Loop)
nachbauen.
siehe: https://www.dropbox.com/s/toii9f02cexn0fy/Form.mp4?dl=0

Hat jemand eine Idee bzw ein Link zu einem TuT wie ich das in Cinema realisieren könnte.

Ich hab schon mit x-paritcles experimentiert.

Beste Grüße

Max

Quote/Google Translate—so everyone can follow.

“Hi guys
I would love to do this kind of animation in Cinema (preferably as a loop).
see: [link]
Has anyone an idea or a link to a tutorial as I could realize in Cinema.
I have already experimented with x-paritcles.
Best regards
Max”

Hi Max,

I have attached a non particle sketch.

Just Brainstorming:
To get this with Thinking Particles, I would guess, that you apply a formula (noise based) and set each particle to its position based on that. Perhaps XPresso or Python is certainly a way to go.
The material might be Hair, and mainly set to specular.
.

To get deeper into the thinking of those shapes and forms:
Book: The Nature of Code “Daniel Shiffman”
.

There is certainly something possible with X-Particles, as in the 3.5. tutorials “Controlled FLUIDS”.
But I guess you have to check with the nice folks over at
http://insydium.uk/support-forums/
They provided me with a six month demo, but that is sadly history. So, I can’t help you here.

All the best

Hey Dr.

thank you very much for your answer, it looks good but I also try this way to solve my problem.
This download file you send me is a litle bit to static.
I have made the blue cloud in After Effects with Flow but I need a great rendering so I have to build it in cinema.

I have found a popular plugin but it cost 399 $:-( clled turboleceFD may be this ist a solution

Hi Max,

Yes, that was meant as a sketch, not the final version. You need to tweak it of course.
Perhaps, this set up illustrates more the intention, boxy to make it clear, swap the materials

You meant “TurbulenceFD”
https://www.jawset.com
I have no idea if that can give you what you want.
If you can afford to buy, it might be an easy way,
but check with the company first—based on your clip.

I certainly think that it should be possible in X-Particles. I assume that you have your own ideas. Not to copy the clip above, right?
Please check with the resources that Insydium provides, they are very professional C4D users.
This would be my suggestion if you have already bought into their tech.

My sketch above can be easily used with a MoGraph Matrix to create Thinking Particles.
The Hair Render Tag allows even to set trails, or use the Thickness in the Hair Material.

Good luck

P.S.:

Another non particle example
