Hi Maxon,

I have been avid fan of cineversity for quite some time, I was curious of what was the hardware setup during Cinema’s showroom booth demonstrations. The render times are unbelievable, a friend in a design studio was curious of a what could be a comparable setup for him and I thought this was the best place to ask.

Thank you Maxon for everything.

Sorry, FinalExile for the silence here.

I have no data on this. I write something here to “bump” the thread.

My best advice would be the “charts” that people publish from CINEBENCH

http://www.maxon.net/products/cinebench/overview.html

You might google those overviews. This gives normally a good overview what machines perform well.

All the best

If you’re asking about the NAB and Siggraph trade show presentations, I can fill in some info. Prior to NAB this year, all the presentations were done on a 12-core “cheese grater” Mac Pro (dual 6-core 2.4ghz) with 32 GB RAM and dual Quaddro K5000 graphics cards. For NAB 2016 (after your initial post), half the artists used a Dell system with a 10-core 3.1 Ghz Xeon, 64 GB Ram and dual Quaddro M6000 graphics cards.
