How do I access the video, the tank model, and where is the .c4d file “exported from After Effects” as mentioned in part 2 of the tutorial?
There is a pop up button to access the tank model in the introduction to the tutorial, but when I attempt to click on it, the button disappears before I can select it. Is there a download link for these files???

Greetings,
The download files for tutorials are located on the information tab, clicking the icon that says “Files”. A .zip file should then be asked to be saved on your computer.

For a tutorial series, we recommend going to the playlist as you’ll have access to all of the tutorials.

The save files for this series located in VFX with C4D: Tank Crash, Part 02: Camera Tracking.

For the tank model, you can find the download link in the description of Part 02 as well. That is interesting that a button appears for the rollover in part one, but is just a text link in the main description. Something to look into on our end. smile

I hope this helps!

I downloaded the files to see what they contain from part two and four, this morning.

As shown in the images below. There is no mov, ae nor any c4d in the two zip files. The mp4 is the backplate!

The file button by itself is working, just click back to the Information tab if the playlist covers it.

There are three links in the text files, one for the tak and two times for the Nitroblast, all are working fine as well.

Silly question but here it goes. I’m working with the Adobe CS4 suite. In the tutorial the back plate video is imported into After Effects as a series of PSD files.  I’m not sure how to create a series of PSD files from the video file. Can anyone help.

Hi marcpurcell,

This was not discussed in part 01. This a thread for the part 01 only or related questions to the introduction.

I will go ahead for the tutorial in question (I guess part 08) and use the “Help With This Tutorial” button. In this way, things stay organized and linked. Please have a look here:

Thanks for your efforts.
