Basics of creating a Python Plugin

I would love to see a tut series on the complete process of authoring a plugin.

The functionality of the plugin could be pretty basic (for demonstration sake). In this case I’m more interested in what needs to be done to make it ready for distribution.

I recognize this would be pretty advanced material. But this info is difficult to find online. The only tut I’ve seen on this was difficult to follow and not very concise.

Ideally the series would teach:
•Coding the basic plugin in python
•The plugin should have a custom UI (I want to know how to create one)
•The registration process for a plugin
•Source protection
•And a bonus would be how to set up license generation system for a paid plugin.

It’s a big request… I know. No harm in asking though, right?

Thanks for the suggestion. :o)

BTW, a complete Plug-in was discussed start to finish in C4D208 over at FXPHD.

See “The Vault”, which means, if an FXPHD member, these courses can be downloaded complete and directly.
