Hi Matt,

I have tried many-many ways to overcome this Motion Clip problem. (E.g., placing the whole scene in each take, etc,etc.)R18 or R19, no difference either. I haven’t found any workaround. Sorry.

Please contact the support.

All the best

Thank you so much for trying Dr. Sassi. I guess I’m good at finding bugs haha. Also they still haven’t fixed the last issue I submitted with XPresso :(

Hi Matt,

To have found this connection is certainly a skill. Yes, the problem is often in the many combinations possible with the huge amount of options. When one considers way over thousand tools, functions and options, some with vast numbers of parameters, it becomes clear that the result of such combinations is at least in the millions. To find such a connection… congratualtions.

I will explore what happens more in detail before I file a report, to get it down to the lowest amount of parts needed to reproduce it, which will accelerate the process.

The Render Queue might be the fastest way to get all the Takes render out with perhaps a minute more work. Have a look here, it is a one minute clip:

https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/tcsH8vPOx7GL3M5Ng647FLaS70xvwZAiYROeqoGZqrH

With the render Queue working, my hope is that it is a minor problem and easy/fast to fix. As the Queue is pretty much what this command “Render Marked Takes” does.

Have a great weekend, and sorry about the extra work.

Hey thank you so much. I actually just submitted the bug report to them. I stripped my file down to close to nothing. There are a few extra parts, but I don’t think it’s a big deal. Here’s the file I provided to them: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r6m0yzmjmlhgjg9/takes_motion.zip?dl=0

Thanks again. I will try the render queue route smile

Thanks a lot, for submitting it, Matt. It will make many people in the future happy, even they don’t know that they miss the trouble. Thanks!

My best wishes.

Yeah, I am hoping that if someone else runs into the same problem, it will shed some light on the topic. Thanks again for your video of the render queue…I have never used that before! Looks pretty easy to use! Have a great weekend sir!

I hope things will run smoothly from now on, even with the many extra clicks.

Thanks, I hope the weekend will be fine, lots to explore as usual, I look forward to it.

Cheers.
