GRIP Cleanup View and Default Filters don’t seem to work (R18 or R19)

I’ve been really enjoying many of the tools by Cineversity including the GRIP set of scripts. However, neither the Cleanup View nor Default Filters buttons seem to work in R18 or R19 (I haven’t tested in anything earlier).

Am I missing something or is that just because they’re old scripts?

Just because they’re old.

Have you tried CleanMode? It probably needs some R19 tweaks as well, but might work a bit better.

It actually works better in R19 than it did in R15. The big caveat of the tutorial is that clones are considered splines and thus get turned off, but that is not the case in R19!

With the new viewport in C4D, I feel like this kind of quick cleanup functionality is going to be very popular. Someone should make an updated version of this tutorial so you guys can publicize it. smile
