Can you please tell me or direct me to a tutorial that explains how to create the collider object?  I’m a newbie when it comes to modeling.  I tried to create a torus, but I’m having a hard time modeling it to fit the teeth. Thanks!

Hi CTW1221,

Here is a quick one minute clip for you, you might like to download it to have a better viewing experience: [Extrude Object]
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/yG3fYFpzasfe590KhK4AzXoSHiWbVyUMsJB0ypm5odA?ref_=cd_ph_share_link_copy

If I use a short cut, it will be shown, like pressing the h key while the mouse is in an editor window, to frame the content.

The collider goes then into the group of the “Upper-Teeth” and you can reset the P-angle.

You might be closer to the teeth with the Spline to have less work to adjust the shape later on, my clip is just a sketch, not a tutorial.

There are certainly many ways to create this.
To get a good idea about modeling, please have a look at this course:

Certainly equally valuable for your targets is this course:

I guess that should give you a good base to start from. Please note that modeling by itself is a job in its own rights. It can go very deep, and has certainly a wide variety of options.

To name one option: Select the Subdivision Surface object and set it [render] to zero, then use the Object Manager> Objects> Current State to Object and the created group as shown in the clip above Connect and delete. Then place a Polygon Reduction “deformer” under it and increase the amount perhaps to 95% [better 80%]. Current State to Object again. This should give you a nice “Collider Low-Res-Dummy”.

Perhaps use a cube with some segments, and a spline that follows the teeth, then use a Spline Wrap, adjust the segments to the lowest amount possible. Similar in result: use a spline which follows the teeth-middle combined with a Spline-Profile and a Sweep Object.

Many options and certainly much more to think about, the best is what feels right to you (e.g., intuitive to use) and what will give you the result you are after, in the fastest way.
Let me know if there is anything else, I’m happy to look into it.

My best wishes
