I created a grid of planes that I placed by hand to match existing real world screens. I want to use mograph effectors to animate those planes. I dropped the planes in a fracture object, applied my effectors and everything is great. Now I need to export that 3D Data so I can change what’s on the planes in my compositor.
I’m trying to create a rig so I can vary the animation with the effectors and get that 3D data into my compositor. Is there an easy way to get the animated 3D Data from these planes out of C4D?
I can always follow a tutorial on setting up an expresso rig to chase the PSR of objects in a cloner. But in 2017 Maxon has to have a better solution to this, don’t they?
