Hi,

Thanks for your nice CV tools, very much helpful. Thanks to your team.

Is it possible to have a new “Sphere” object with both divide controls, verticals and horizontal. Now a sphere object is with vertical divide setting and no horizontal divides, its auto.
I mean, if sphere is with 8 sides (segments) and vertically its 4, can we make vertically 6 or 8…?

I know the other ways but takes time. If its possible in your addition to CV tool series… and will make life little easier.

Thanks.

p.s.
ohhh…. sorry for double post, please delete one. Thnaks.

Hi iacdxb,

Not to answer about CV-Tools, but to support your target.

One minute overview
https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/RbGxaBB71VCgxFTYyGbqIXFk7TNcYlV79iIR3gG3LEG?ref_=cd_ph_share_link_copy

1)
Take a Cube and place a Spherical Deformer underneath it [child]. Set the Strength to 100%.
Have a display mode with lines, to see the effect. Change the size and segment amount of the cube.

or

2)
Use an Arc Spline, set to -90º to 90º
Place this under a Lathe Object.
Adjust the Intermediate Points of the Spline, and the Subdivision of the Lathe.

or

3)
Take a Plane object, perhaps set to 800x400 and Z direction
Take a Wrap Deformer as child to it. Set it to 800x400 and Spherical, 0º-360º and -90º to 90º
Now adjust the segments in Width and Hight of the Plane.

You might find even more with this little brainstorming done.
