ok, so i have a grid of spheres.  i want the overlapping spheres to have a smooth connection that makes them appear seamless.  i tried meatballs and that looked awful.  Connect did not work, even with subdivision surface.  suggestions?

i might try a realflow c4d demo, and then mesh the results… idk.

Hi SethO,

Here is a little example, I used only three instead of 27 (as in your file), as it gets really slow.

Scene file:

The core idea is to start with Meta-Balls from the start, and not with Sphere-Objects at all. I would use the Mesher in RF in a similar way, not tested yet, just brainstorming.

Press Play. Adjust the Subdivision as needed.

All the best
