Need help to find my cinema 4d serial

Hello all,
I need to buy install a third party plug in to Cinema R17 . In the past, I used to go to HELP/PERSONALIZE and I get the Information Welcome window with my name on and the number of days i have cinema working till. and down below a bottom to enter the activation code but it only allows me to enter once again the activation code nothing else.. the program is activated already with all saving capabilities . This is a free student version I got at school if that helps.. I would truly appreciate if anyone here can help me find another way to obtain my serial number. i do not have it on my emails but an activation code. many thanks in advance.

Is it the “Student” [free] or the “Student/Teacher” [price vary] version?

The free version has no option for plug-ins.

For the serial code, please contact MAXON directly. Perhaps follow the link above, your country, and fill in the problem perhaps in the “Please explain the roleā€¦” field.

Please note that I’m not familiar nor connected to this part of the distribution and I might be wrong.

Sorry I did not make it clear, what I meant to say is that I would like to know if there is a way to find what my serial number is inside Cinema, other than the Personalize/Help menu. Also, is SERIAL NUMBER AND ACTIVATION CODE THE SAME?  because i have an email with a long series of numbers and letters and its my Student activation code/ Also I do have the Student/Teacher version of Cinema R17.

I’m not familiar with the process of the Student version. I’m also not clear why you run R17, but that is not the core of the question.
These are two different ways of activation.

IF it is available it should be in the Register.

So, I’m not aware how similar the temp/serial or activation code is.

Also the Help Content is not really informative to this specific process.

All in all this is a problem you should clear with the MAXON representative.
