Hi,

Is it possible to have a certain object visible in a perspective viewport but not in the orthographic viewport?

Thank you for looking at the problem.

Hi Ben,

Not to my knowledge. I assume you would like to have one view less crowded for modeling work? Then the interactive render region is not working; otherwise, that could be a way, while setting the View options (render/ Editor) in the Object Manager.

If you let me know a little bit more, perhaps there is something else…

Cheers

Yep, that was my intention. I guess it’s not possible natively. Thanks for the confirmation.

Hi Ben,

There is always the option to use the Solo option. (Not exactly your request, I know.)
https://help.maxon.net/us/#52991

Besides, all the Layers in the Layer Browser have a solo option as well.

However, you should voice your needs here:

A view based filter instead of a global filter would be the solution.

All the best

Would be an excellent option to have, Ben, thanks for taking the time.

Cheers.
