Any idea how can I run around cloth over a hat…?
While simulation… some point to hold and rotate around hat…?

Thanks.

Hi Imran,

I see two parts, the one that goes around the hat and the part that is like a pony-tail. Yes I know it is one, but it is impractical to do it in in a single cloth simulation.

Typically the knot, or what ever hold the wrapped around part, can be used as connection point.

The wrapped around part could be modeled or made fit with the cloth, but I guess that manual way leaves more art direction, as any automated process takes that normally away.

I would perhaps introduce a round and invisible part to ease out the calculation for the edge on the head where the “pony-tail” runs along.

All the best
