Hi,

I am doing a project where I need a 3D model to be on a leash ( sort of) The model is bungee-jumping and needs to bounce up and down.I am using the contraints tag ( from the charactermodule and the Hair module) etc. but when I apply “Gravity” to my scene ( to make the object fall ) the contraints do not work anymore. What am I doing wrong??? How to I make a object stay contrained to a bungee-cord and bounce up and down when falling..?I have searched the web, watched the “dog on leash” tutorial at Cineversity, but I canĀ“t find the solution anywhere… I hope some of my fellow Cinema 4D users can help.

Please help.

I didn’t find the right solution from the Internet.

Hi rcrdmcdaniel,

I guess you have exhausted Spline Dynamics/Friction options already.

Perhaps this would be a small bungee, Post #1:

In other words, more springs and perhaps the effect might work as a bungee?

Let me know if that supports your idea.

I have moved this post from the Tutorial Forum. New threads in the tutorial forum should be only opened with the “Help with this Tutorial” button. Not for anything else. Thanks.

All the best
