Hello guys!
Does anyone know where I could find some C4D kit or plugin to make any kind of ball coaster faster & easier ? (see attachment)

I already know a way with spline wrap, etc… but I as usual, the deadline is really tight smile ...

ANY help would be awesome wink

My sleeping time thanks you a lot <3

Hi IbouStudio,

I would think that you need one spline for the path and a copy of that spline as rail to make it stable. If this is a given, MoGraph should be able to give you all you need*.

Here is an older tutorial that has that idea in mind, but the main focus was more a build in realtime, but when its build you have your ball coaster.

*The vertical construction might be in need for a little trick to have the changing height included.

If you could share an example spline path and a sketch about the elements you like to include, I’m happy to take a look into it.

All the best

P.S. here is a sketch with some ideas. I hope that comes closest to a Ball-Coaster-Creator.

Scene file and a one minute intro.  “

It is based on an initial spline path (flat) and a texture (which can be also a painted image.

From there all information is taken to create the complete set up. Two versions on how to build the construction are also included.

I use the MoSpline with the Ball at 100% of the Align to Spline and use the MoSpline End parameter to drive the animation. This gives me the length of the MoSpline from start to the Ball. Which includes all needed parameter (plus the Ball radius) to calculate the ball rolling.

Again, just a collection of ideas.

Edit: perhaps a little bit the same, but more straight forward, again file and clip below: “…_11.c4d”

In the last 15 seconds of the clip I show where the flat (XZ plane) spline has to be connected if you need a new spline)
